The owner of the consultant firm ”Inter-mezzo – process and movement” moving individuals and organizations towards their own purpose. Inter-mezzo works on the basis of social ecology and systemic theory, with sustainability as a key-issue in all aspects. She often includes artistic processes in the work as a parallel context to investigate the themes of the group. Lotte has worked with the art of movement – Eurythmy- since 1985 and worked with thousands of children and adults. In the last 15 years eurythmy has been a natural part of the development work in companies and organizations, as movement seems to offer a direct access to the challenges hidden in the organization, combined with other coaching tools. In 2008 the participated in a research-project for managers in Sekem, Cairo, with the theme: Can eurythmy help personal leadership? Lotte is the co-author of the book “Insight in eurythmy” that will be released this summer.

Moving the space between
In this morning session we will investigate one of the archetypal movements in life: the breathing between contraction and expansion. Beginning in a shared circle, each grounding him/herself in their own centre, we find the impulse to make the circle live: contracting towards the centre, expanding to the periphery, in a flow-movement that absorbs everyone.
How do we listen to the quality of the space behind and the space in front?
How do we wake up in the space between us?
How do we get picked up and carried in the common movement known as “flow”?
How do we experience and express talking and listening in movement?
How does sustainability become tangible and visible – between giving and receiving, between I and we, between focus and letting go?
How do we create a field, a meeting, a dance that come alive between us this particular morning in this particular place with exactly this group of people?
Welcome to a morning meditation in movement!
Creating fields - connecting words. An experimental eurythmy workshop.
The vowels are the soul’s expression in language. Each vowel has a corresponding movement that is recognizable in all languages.
Systemic theory says that language creates social reality. In this workshop we will create reality through the movement of the vowels, and choose various essential words that we will seek to express. We will experience the feeling and colour of the sounds, search for central words and as a group improvise the visible expression of these. As we create more words we will experiment with the co-creation of simultaneous realities in space, and become aware of the elements of cooperation, intension, awareness of the field we create.
The composition of the workshop: - Establishing the group’s “body” and movement
- Finding the vowels in ourselves
- Vowels as geometric forms in space
- Choosing essential words and forming groups
- Improvising and co-creating the quality of the chosen words
- Observing each group – what do we see and experience? Can we sense the group’s intension?
- Co-creating all groups simultaneously
Meditation and reflection of the process. Sharing the inner movement of the workshop.
